President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday expressed a level of frustration in his administration’s battle against insurgency in the country, admitting that the efforts of the government is being sabotaged.

Though Jonathan did not give details of what he meant by the fight being sabotaged, he said government’s fight against insurgency were being frustrated both internally and externally.

Speaking as host to some Nollywood and music stars under the auspices of ‘Creative Professionals’ who paid him a courtesy visit at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Jonathan admitted that such sabotage was frustrating.

The team of entertainers was led by Nollywood star, Segun Arinze.

He however expressed optimism that his government would soon achieve success in the fight against terrorism.

“one of our greatest challenges and I have to thank you for observing that one-minute of silence in their honour, is this security challenge,” Jonathan said.

“But we are working very hard, we have our frustrations, we have issues of sabotage: internal and external but we are working very hard and by the grace of God, we will overcome.”

Jonathan further said the country was also facing problems of infrastructure but said his administration was committed to expanding the horizon in all the sectors including transportation, aviation, ports, roads and power infrastructure.
