The 2015 presidential ambition of Muhammadu Buhari, a leader of the All Progressives Party (APC) would take a more serious turn with a rally that would kick-start in Lagos on Saturday.
An invitation to journalists for the event states that the rally tagged: ‘Nigeria Needs Muhammadu Buhari’, is going to take the form of a public road show and procession.
Signed by Com Jasper Azuatalam, chairman of the Buhari vanguard, the invitation indicated that the rally, will kicks off from the NLC Secretariat Gate, Yaba, Lagos and terminates at the APC Lagos State secretariat, ACME Road Ikeja Lagos.
The rally is expected to be an opportunity to showcase what Nigerians could benefit from voting for Buhari in year 2015.
According to the organisers, these benefits include: maximum security, zero corruption and discipline.
“We thank the Lagos state Commissioner of Police and the Lagos State Police Command for assuring us of maximum protection and we also appreciate the leadership of our party APC in Lagos state for their support,” Azuatalam said in the invitation.
“God bless Nigeria, God Bless the All Progressive Congress.”
