After hoisting their flag in some villages in Borno State, men of the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram have killed Alhaji Ibrahim Dawi, the district head of Garubula village in Biu local government, along with many other residents of the area.
In an attack that occurred on Thursday, the gunmen reportedly dressed in full military fatigue, shot at everybody the found in sight after killing the district head.
“It was a sad day for us to wake up today and find that our dear District Head was killed after the attack on us by gunmen dressed like soldiers,” Idrisa Garubula, a resident of the village, told newsmen on phone.
He said Dawi received shots to the head, and before help could come, the monarch had died.
