The success story of Dr. Eruani, President of Azikel Group is difficult to rival. Having recorded enormous success in the dredging industry, Dr. Eruani has taken a critical step to invest in the aviation industry, and he was recently cited hopping out of his sleek private jet at the Luton airport in London, where another slightly black red strip helicopter was waiting to fly him to be received by staff of Castle Air in the United Kingdom, which just sold a brand a new helicopter to him — the third in his fleet of aircrafts beside his private jet.
He has also acquired a Bombadier learjet deployed to chatter business, which he now operates with private jets, as well as helicopter services primarily provided to lift oil workers in the Niger Delta. This investment, he has made through one of his companies, Azikel Air.
The delivery of the new helicopter — customized executively to seat about eight to nine passengers, well air-conditioned and sound-proof — will complement his helicopter services. The helicopter is easily identifiable, as it bears the Azikel logo and the registration, Azikel abbreviated into M-AZKL.
The strategic investment into the aviation sector with his professional partners in operation and maintenance is testament to the readiness of Dr. Eruani and Azikel Group for the challenges of the aviation industry. The pilots, all of whom are Americans, are trained twice every month by flight safety in the United States of America based on a signed agreement for training and certification. He also possesses a strategic management agreement with ACASS, a Canada-based aviation company, that will provide all personnel and certify the state of the aircraft.
Dr. Eruani has another strategic management and maintenance partnership agreement with Jet East Aviation an American company for the maintenance of operations of the aircraft without cutting corners. With the aviation company, Dr. Eruani has also created employment for Nigerian locals who have now been employed in various cadres.
Also, he has now grouped all the subsidiaries of his company to the Azikel Group, which comprises Azikel Dredging, Azikel Air, Azikel Petroleum and Azikel Farms, with its operational base and headquarters in Bayelsa State. The firm also provides employment for over 500 people, both from the Niger Delta and beyond; and it is hoped that as the various other subsidiaries of the group, such as Azikel Petroleum, expand, it will absolve many more unemployed youths into its fold.
