There was pandemonium around the Onipanu area of Ikorodu Road, Lagos State on Friday morning as rampaging soldiers invaded the road beating passers-by and destroying government transport buses.
At the time of this report, they had destroyed several buses of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Scheme of the State setting some ablaze.
It was learnt that a driver of one of the buses had run over a soldier who plied the road illegally.
Irked by the killing of their colleagues, the soldiers stormed the road where they beat up every civilian on sight and shot sporadically.
At the time of this report, there was no reaction from the State Government or the military command.
