President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Mr. Olufemi Ajayi as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
Ajayi’s appointment was communicated on Wednesday in a press release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity matters, Reuben Abati.
“The appointment is with immediate effect,” Abati stated in the release.
With the new appointment, Ajayi replaces Dr. Oluwole Oluleye, who has served as the executive secretary of the PTDF since 2013.
Ajayi is from Ekiti State. Until this new appointment, he was Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
