President Goodluck Jonathan has directed the immediate cancellation of the weekend’s immigration recruitment test, during which more than 20 job seekers died and a dozen others sustained injuriies.
The president issued the directive during the day’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
He as well directed that three family members of those who died in the stampede must automatically be given employment (with one of the three being a woman) while all those who sustained injuries should be automatically employed.
