Following the recent appointment of seven permanent secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service, Governor of the state, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola has approved the deployment of 11 permanent secretaries in the State Public Service.
According to a circular issued on Thursday by Head of Service, Mrs. Oluseyi Williams, four newly appointed permanent secretaries were deployed while seven subsisting permanent secretaries were redeployed.
The redeployed permanent secretaries include Mr. Olalekan Adeleke Ogunbanwo, who has been moved from the Lagos Television/Radio Services to Parastatals Monitoring Office; and Mr. Adekunle Mubashiru Ajanaku, formerly of the Deputy Governor’s Office, who has now been moved to the Lagos Television/Radio Services.
Also, Engr. Paul Omotayo Bamgbose-Martins has been moved from the Office of Works to Office of Infrastructure, Mr. Nurudeen Adeyinka Ojora-Adejiyan of the Local Government Service Commission has been moved to the Teachers Establishment and Pensions Office, while Mr. Ashamu Sewanu Fadipe has been moved from the Ministry of Tourism and Intergovernmental Relations to the Local Government Service Commission.
Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adebusola Balogun of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture is now to serve at the Ministry of Tourism and Intergovernmental Relations, while Mrs. Omotayo Amoke Olabenjo has been moved from the Civil Service Commission and will now take over at the Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture.
The four newly deployed Permanent Secretaries are Mrs. Jokotola Ojosipe-Ogundimu, who is to serve at the Civil Service Commission; Mr. Micheal Olajuwon Dawodu, who has been sent to serve at the Deputy Governor’s Office; Engr. Olujimi Nunayon Hotonu, who now takes charge at the Office of Works; and Mrs and Oluwatoyin Adepeju Adegbuji-Onikoyi, who is now to serve at the Ministry of Finance.
Governor Fashola has also approved the deployment of three newly promoted tutors-general/permanent secretaries: Mrs. Florence Adebola Ogunfidodo, who is now to serve at Education District 1; Mrs. Margaret Titilayo Solarin, who is now to serve at Education District 2; and Mr. Yinka Gbemi Olaniyi, who is now to serve at the Education District 3.
The circular added that all the newly appointed permanent secretaries are to resume immediately at their respective posts of deployment, while the redeployed permanent secretaries are to complete their handover formalities and report in their new posts on Monday, 20th January 2014.
