River State Governor, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Tuesday, escaped death by a whisker, when a suspicious motorist drove into his convoy along Igwuruta road,Port Harcourt.Huhuonline.com understands that the governor was on his way to Port Harcourt International Airport when the accident occurred.
An eyewitness to the accident revealed that the accident was caused by the intrusion of a Toyota Avensis, with registration number AAA 767 AQ.
He affirmed that the Toyota rammed into the Governor’s convoy from the opposite side of the dual carriageway, just after the C4I Security Post, on Port Harcourt International Airport Road.
