The People Democratic Party (PDP), Monday, quashed the decision to suspend Dr. Aliyu Wamakko, Executive governor of Sokoto state. The reversal huhuonline.com learnt was brokered by pro- Jonathan governors.
Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, National Chairman of the PDP flanked by pro-Jonathan governors announced the lifting of the suspension on Wamakko at the end of meeting of the party`s NWC.
Tukur also said that the meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee would be held on June 20.
Last week, the ruling party suspended Gov.Wamakko for showing complete apathy to the affairs of the party and contempt to an organ of the party.
