Barely 24 hours after Nigeria lost its Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, his son and wife in a ghastly motor accident, another accident has occurred involving the Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Abubakar Ali.
However, unlike Ocholi, Ali is said to have survived even though his current state of health is of major concern to his loyalists and people of his state.
The accident occurred in Daka-Tsalle town along the Kaduna- Kano Expressway while the Deputy Governor was on his way to Kano.
It was learnt that the car which conveyed Ali had a head-on collision with a Toyota car, badly damaging the car.
The Deputy Governor and his aides proceeded on the trip thereafter.
On Sunday, Ocholi and his family, returning from a church programme in Kaduna, died in an accident that resulted from a burst tyre.
The Minister and his son died instantly while his wife, a registrar in a private tertiary institution in Nigeria, died minutes later while receiving treatment.
