The Nigerian Army has forwarded a of 12 officers to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for probe.
The Army made the move known through its spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman.
Usman said three serving and one retired Major Generals, three Brigadier Generals, four Colonels and one Lieutenant Colonel were on the list.
He stated that at the end of EFCC’s investigations those found culpable would be tried by a military Court Martial.
There are speculations that the investigation is in connection with the misappropriated arms fund, for which about 17 top military officers are also currently been probed.
