Acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Dr. John Atte, on Tuesday redeployed five Customs Comptrollers, saying this was part of the new resolve to tighten border security and pursue vigorously the achievements of the 2015 revenue target.
A very terse statement from the service listed the affected officers and their new areas of posting to include Compt. Amade A. who should now man Zone A headquarter (FOU ‘A’), Compt. Azarema A. who now heads the Modernisation (PH I), Compt. Madugu S. J. to CTC Ikeja (SEME), Compt. Kuffi D. G. to PH I (S R & P), Compt. Ndalati G.G.M. to Seme (S R & P).
The Customs boss charged the affected officers to take over their new positions immediately with a view to re-sharpening service apparatus for maximum productivity.
