Huhuonline.com can disclose that Usman Akali Baba,Inspector General of Police, Tuesday, ordered CP Olaleye Faleye, the Commissioner of Police in Osun state, to investigate alleged assault on Inspector Olorunsogo Bamidele,a female police officer by her supervisor, DCO Mathew Ajayi, in Ode Omu, Osun State.
In a viral video, Inspector Olorunsogo Bamidele, a married woman, who had visible injuries on her body, accused her direct boss, whom she simply identified as Ajayi Mathew of stripping, assaulting and threatening to shoot her with a dane gun, because she refused his sexual advances.
“Excerpt of a statement issued by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Force, reads: We will await the report from the Osun State Police Command before neccesary actions are taken. However, we assure the general public that justice will be in this case, to protect the core values and ehtics of NPF”
