The National Leader and one of the presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has said that Nigerians would not regret electing him president come 2023.
Tinubu made the declaration in Kano on Friday in continuation of his consultations with the party’s delegates to the presidential primaries.
“I hereby appeal to you to support my presidential ambition. Vote for me to clinch the party’s ticket at the forthcoming primary election.
“Today is the day I have come to ask for your support to be president of Nigeria. You can put me there with your votes.
“I believe in myself. I’m smart, intelligent and courageous, don’t make mistake, choose wisely, choose me, I beg you and you will never regret supporting me,” Tinubu said.
Like other candidates of the APC and the opposition People’s Democratic Party, Tinubu was in the State woo delegates who will be voting to choose among about 23 of them who are gunning for APC’s flag as the presidential candidate.
Among other promises, he said he would tackle insecurity, which to many is the single most important challenge facing the country today. He also said he would revive the economy, develop agriculture lift the nation’s decrepit infrastructure.
