South South APC Convention Unity List emerges, as Giadom, Edu, Morka Make it
The Unity List of the South South for the All Progressives Congress Convention has emerged, with some notable names on it, including Chief Victor Giadom, a former Deputy National Secretary of the party.
Other notable names on the list include Dr. Betta Edu and Barr. Felix Morka. Their names were included on the list and were endorsed by the signatories to the list.
Those who signed the list are Prof Ben Ayade, Cross River Governor; Adams Oshiomhole, former National Chairman; Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Minister of Niger Delta, Sen. Godwin Akpabio; Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege; representative of South South in the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Chief David Lyon, and the zonal Stakeholders Secretary, Chief Lucky Imasuen
Chief Giadom has been endorsed by the caucus as National Vice Chairman South-South, while Dr. Edu is Ayade’s candidate for National Women Leader. Barr. Morka is recommended for the post of National Publicity Secretary, while Hon. Omorede Osifo from Edo State is nominated for Deputy National Treasurer.
Similarly, the post of National Ex-officio for the zone, which was allotted to Bayelsa State is reserved for Diriwari Akedewei , just as Dr. Christopher Akpan from Akwa Ibom is slated for the position of Deputy National Welfare Secretary.
Other nominations for zone positions include Dr. Its Udosen – Akwa Ibom, who I slated for Zonal Secretary; Miss Caroline Owugha from Bayelsa who is booked for the post of Zonal Woman Leader, and Chief Edet Asia of Cross Rivers who will occupy the position of Zonal Special Persons Leader.
Others are Comrade Ebimobowe Oyal of Delta State made, slated for the post of Zonal Youth Leader, and Hon. Blessing Agbonmere from Edo State, who will be Zonal Organising Secretary.
