An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt on Friday dismissed the appeal by the suspended National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Uche Secondus in which he sought an interim injunction to stop the party from holding its national convention, which is scheduled to hold from Saturday to Sunday, October 30 and 31, 2021, in Abuja.
The appeal court dismissed the appeal for lacking in merit, with the three-man panel being of the same view.
Justice Gabriel Kolawale delivered the judgment, which was unanimously supported by the other two members.
Secondus had filed the appeal on October 14, 2021.
