The Central Bank of Nigeria has returned the eNaira application to the Google Play Store and iOS store.
The restoration was done late on Thursday after an upgrade on the App was completed.
The disappearance of the eNaira app on Wednesday had caused a stir among the public, especially those who were in the process of downloading the app, barely 48 hours after the launch of the central bank digital currency.
The CBN later calmed the public on Wednesday after it explained that the eNaira speed wallet, the app for eNaira personal wallet, had not crashed but was being updated.
The other app of the eNaira that remained was the speed merchant wallet which is for vendors.
Nigeria became the first African country to issue a central bank digital currency with the launch of the eNaira on Monday, October 25.
