President Muhammadu Buhari will this evening feature in an exclusive interview on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the presidency has said.
This comes a day after Buhari featured in an interview on Arise TV, during which he spoke on sundry national issues.
A statement by Special Adviser to Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina, said the interview session, which is expected to be on air from about 8:30 pm, would be revealing.
“President Muhammadu Buhari grants Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) an exclusive interview, from 8.30 pm, Friday, June 11, 2021.
“It promises to be revealing and educating. Kindly keep a date,” the statement said.
Speaking on Arise TV on Thursday, the president declared his support for open grazing of cattle and his order to the Attorney General to recover land for herders. He also restated his stance on the Indigenous People of Biafra, saying the government would speak to them in a language that they understand. He further described the agitators as “a dot in a circle with nowhere to go”.
