A suicide bomber on Tuesday blew himself into pieces in Ebonyi State, as he detonated the suicide vest he was wearing.
The incident happened in Afikpo town, headquarters of Afikpo local government area of the state.
The incident was said to have happened about midday.
The lone bomber had attempted to enter into the Amaizu/ Amangballa Primary School but was turned back by the school security because he could not justify his reason for coming to the school.
Thereafter, he was said to have run into a nearby bush and a loud bang followed
The body of the bomber was later seen in the bush with his upper part of his body was completely destroyed from the impact of the bomb.
