Philip Shekwo, Chairman the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nsarawa State, who was kidnapped late Saturday, has been murdered.
Shekwo was abducted from his residence about 11 pm on Saturday in Bukan-Sidi, Lafia, the state capital.
His body was later found Sunday with bloodstains, dumped a few meters away from his residence.
His lifeless body was found a meter away from his house a few minutes ago.
Schekwo hailed from Toto local government area of Nasarawa.
He served as Commissioner for Commerce and Industries during the first tenure of former Governor Tanko Al-Makura
Meanwhile, Governor Abdullahi Sule, Tanko Al-Makura, the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Abdullahi- Balarabe Ibrahim, the state commissioner of police, Bolak Longe, government official, party members have visited the site of the murder.
