Nigeria continued the evacuation of its nationals who are stranded in different parts of the world by the coronavirus pandemic by the repatriation of 324 citizens on Saturday from the United States.
The evacuation was announced in a statement issued in Abuja and signed by Tilahun Tadesse, Ethiopian AirlinesTraffic, and Sales Manager.
The 324 Nigerians landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Saturday at 3.30 pm
Geoffrey Onyeama, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, had announced the departure of the flight from Newark Airport, New Jersey, on Twitter Saturday morning.
Nigeria has scheduled two more flights for the evacuation of additional Nigerians slated from America fo July 28 and 31.
