Nigeria’s First Lady, Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has taken another trip to London to see her ailing husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.
The First Lady left for London, United Kingdom on Sunday, to visit her husband who has been on medical vacation since 7th May.
Her first visit since her husband left was on 30th May. She returned from the first trip after six days.
On her return on 6th June, she reported that President Buhari expressed appreciation to Nigerians for their prayers on his behalf.
Aisha Buhari is also expected to be in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, to make a symbolic appearance at the meeting of the Organization of African First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) on Monday 3rd July, 2017 before reaching her husband in London.
She will also join other members to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the organisation, and use the opportunity to reiterate the voting rights of Nigeria in the upcoming elections of the organisation.
She will continue her journey to the United Kingdom on Tuesday, 3rd July, 2017.
