There was drama in Abuja on Monday as angry workers refused to allow the Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige, address them.
The event had progressed smoothly until Ngige began his address to the workers at the Eagles Square where workers in the Federal Capital Territory gathered for the Workers’ Day celebrations.
Instead of listening to the minister, the workers began booing, asking him to stop.
The workers shun all entreaties by labour leaders and other top government officials at the event to allow the minister’s address to continue.
