President Muhammadu Buhari, Friday, responded to his wife, Aisha Buhari`s interview which raised salient queries about his leadership style.
Buhari who is on a state visit to Germany reacted to the interview during a joint press briefing with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The AP news agency says President Buhari laughed it off and said: “I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room.”
Mr Buhari further said that he has much more political experience than his wife
“So I claim superior knowledge over her and the rest of the opposition, because in the end I have succeeded. It’s not easy to satisfy the whole Nigerian opposition parties or to participate in the government.”
