Huhuonline.com understands that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended the announcement of result, and gone on a one hour break. However, of the results from nine local government areas announced so far, APC is in the lead with 142, 424 votes, against PDP’s 136, 799 votes. Announcement of results is expected to resume at 12noon.

PDP Protesters Storm INEC Office, Demand Cancellation Of Election
Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) are currently protesting outside the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Benin, Edo state capital.They are accusing the electoral body of bias, and have demanded a cancellation of the governorship election.
Security personnel have barricaded the INEC headquarters in the state to prevent the protesters from accessing the premises.
