Huhuonline.com gathered that preparation  is on top gear by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to begin the process of seizing about five houses believed to belong to the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

It was also gathered that the EFCC has already, dispatched more detectives to Port Harcourt to do a more detailed investigation on the properties.

Aside the Port Harcourt operation, sources said another building worth over N500m in Abuja has been seized by the EFCC. This is aside the N3.58 billion Abuja mansion earlier seized.

EFCC source said the properties under surveillance in Port Harcourt are estimated to worth of over N3 billion.

The source said, “We have identified more than five of such assets but we need to verify the ownership by going through some documents before attaching the properties in line with our mandate.

“In the next one week, our team in Port Harcourt would have completed their assignment. We will then release the value of the assets.
