President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun on the occasion of his 77th birthday anniversary which falls on 12th August 2016.
According to the congratulatory message contained in a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina Buhari joined Oyegun’s family, friends and admirers in celebrating another year of good health and strength for a man who has shown uncommon dedication to the peace, progress, stability and development of Nigeria.
“The President commends his patriotism, hard work and leadership in managing the affairs of the governing party through the period and in the aftermath of the historic 2015 elections,” the statement read.
“The President affirms that Chief Oyegun’s dedication to noble causes and democratic ideals has indeed endeared him to many Nigerians who will continue to draw inspiration from his legacies to offer their best for the country.”
The President prayed that God Almighty should Oyegun many more years of happiness and good health to see a better and prosperous Nigeria.
