Business owners in Abuja have been warned to stop keeping cash overnight in their shops and homes.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Commissioner of Police (CP), Muhammad Mustafa Made the call on Thursday.
He gave the advice in a statement on Thursday by the FCT police spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, said the CP advised that business owners should endeavour to move cash realised from their daily sales to banks before close of banking transactions.
He also warned against keeping routines in the movement of cash, adding that banks should encourage and educate their customers to guard against keeping cash in their shops and homes.
