The Senate has screened 34 out of the 47 Ambassadorial nominees sent to it by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The screening, presided over by the Chairman Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Monsurat Summonu began on Tuesday.
The first set of 15 ambassadorial nominees appeared before the Committee and was screened on Tuesday. While 19 others were screened on Wednesday, bringing the total to 34. There are 13 nominees left to be screened.
As the programme continued, Nominees who were in a waiting room close to the screening room, were engaged in tutorials, reciting the national anthem and the pledge, to avoid the mistakes earlier made by some screened nominees.
