The leadership of the organised labour in Ondo state have decided to proceed on an indefinite strike from Wednesday 1st of June,2016.
Labour reached the decision following the state government`s inability to pay salaries for five months.
Consequently, workers in the state have been directed to stay at home and hospitals are to be shut down.
It is not yet clear what would be the fate of pupils, who are taking the Senior School Certificate’s Examination.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the organized labour in the state are currently holding an emergency meeting.
