The Federal Government, Wednesday, appointed Director-General in six parastatals within the Ministry of Information and Culture.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed announced the appointments in Abuja in statement.
According to the statement, Mr. Mansur Liman is the new Director-General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
The statment also named Yakubu Mohammed and the new Director-General, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Garba Abari as Director-General, National Orientation Agency (NOA);
Mr. Bayo Onanuga is the Managing Director, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN); Mr. Osita Okechukwu is the Director-General, Voice of Nigeria (VON) and Mr. Ishaq Modibo Kawu in the Director-General, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC)
The statement added the new appointees would replace the CEOs of the organisations who were disengaged on Feb. 15 and that their appointments would take effect immediately.
