Gunmen suspected to be members of a criminal gang have killed Mr.Denen Igbana, Senior Special Assistant on Security to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
Our checks show that the assailant stormed his house around 2AM on Friday and shot him.
One Terwase Agwaza also known as Ghana and former leader of the notorious criminal gang that led over 300 followers to accept the Benue State Governor’s amnesty programme in 2015 is being accused of being responsible.
The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has directed security operatives to fish out the perpetrators, adding that the so-called Ghana would be brought in for questioning if he is implicated in the investigation.
