About a week after three students were abducted from the school in Imota, Ikorodu area of Lagos, the Nigeria Police Force on Sunday announced that its men have rescued the students.
The police also says that three suspects have been arrested over the matter.
The students were abducted from Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Agunfoye Lugbusi, owned by the Lagos Anglican Communion after the abductors reportedly burst part of the fence through which they gained entry into the school.
One of the students had identified a bricklayer working on a structure inside the school as one of the 10-man gang that stormed the school that night of March 1.
The Public Relations Officer of the Police in Lagos, Dolapo Badmus, confirmed the students’ rescue on Sunday.
She told journalists that the students were rescued in the Igbokuta area of Lagos State early Sunday.
