The Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP, Chief Uche Secondus, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The arrest of Secondus was confirmed by the PDP’s Director of New Media, Adeyanju Deji minutes ago.
“Prince Uche Secondus, PDP Deputy National Chairman has been arrested by Buhari’s EFCC. Shameless and childish folks,” he said on social media.
“There is no war against corruption in this country. What we have is a war against the PDP and our members.
“EFCC said Prince Uche Secondus received some buses from someone and must return it. Can you imagine this rubbish.
“Why don’t you just arrest everyone in PDP? Do we look scared of you guys? Idiots!” He declared.
Sources at the EFCC confirmed his arrest but said the issue was more than the buses he is alleged to have received.
“Why should anybody speculate that? The issue is more than buses. In the coming days, Nigerians would hear the real reasons he was arrested,” a source at the EFCC headquarters, said.
