The Nigerian military authorities said on Saturday that they have arrested the chief cameraman of the Boko Haram terrorist sect.
The cameraman, Abdullahi Abubakar Sadiq, who is one of the 100 most wanted members of the sect, was arrested by the military officers of 28 Task Force Brigade at Uba town, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
Apart from him, two other suspects were arrested by the troops at Rumirgo and Kilakasa.
Acting Director of the Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, made this disclosure on Saturday, saying the suspects were arrested on Friday.
“In yet another unprecedented achievement, vigilant troops of 28 Task Force Brigade today arrested another Boko Haram terrorist suspect, Abdullahi Abubakar Sadiq, believed that be the terrorists Chief Cameraman and suspect number 58 on the list of 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists wanted list,” he said.
“He was arrested at Uba town, Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.
The troops also arrested two other suspected Boko Haram terrorists along with two other terrorists at at Rumirgo and Kilakasa.”
