The Senate has screened 10 of the ministerial candidates nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The screening was carried out at the Red Chambers on Tuesday. The nominees came out one after the order responding to questions from members of the Senate.
According to the Senate President Bukola Saraki, the screening exercise continues on Wednesday.
The nominees screened are: Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former governor of Ekiti State; Chief Audu Ogbeh, the ex-National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, the ex-National Chairman of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP); Dr. Osagie Ehanire; Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC); Lt. Gen.Abdulrahman Danbazzau (rtd), a former Chief of Army Staff; Amina Ibrahim Mohammed, a former Special Assistant to the United Nations Secretary General on Post 2015 Development Planning; Suleiman Adamu and Ibrahim Jubril Adamu from Jigawa State.
