The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) on Tuesday announced the appointment of AbdulMalik Shaibu as its acting Chief Registrar.
The announcement was made by Ibraheem Al-Hassan, spokesman of CCT in Abuja. According to him, the appointment has been approved by Justice Danladi Umar, the Chairman of the tribunal.
Al-Hassan said the appointment followed the elevation of the former Chief Registrar, Bello Kawu, to FCT High Court Judge, adding that the appointment of Shuaibu, who was the Director of Legal Services before his elevation, took effect from 18th December.
Shaibu obtained an LLB degree from the University of Benin in 1986 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in October 1987.
His early career spanned private legal practice and many years in the banking sector before joining the CCT in December 2006.
