Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped Sani, one of the brothers of former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
Family sources confirmed the incident late Sunday disclosing that the kidnap of their brothers happened at about 5pm on Sunday.
According to them, Sani was kidnapped around his farm along Fufore Road in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State
The kidnappers, according to the family sources, left the victim’s car behind while they took him away.
The abductors are yet to make a formal communication contact with the victims family at the time of this report.
It is not known if the abductors are members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect which have terrorized the people of the State for sometime now or if the kidnappers who want ransom.
In recent past, Adamawa has faced serious security threats and become a playground for the Boko Haram sect which has taken over some towns in the state.
