It is with sad but grateful hearts,and in total submission to the will of the Almighty God, that we announce the peaceful transition to glory of the mother of the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Deaconess Agnes Owoma Ukeseh, Nee Ekemike, at mid-day on Wednesday, 28th August, 2014.
Deaconess Ukeseh turned 79 on 6th August, 2014.
A devout Christian, a retired Nursing Matron, with a lifetime commitment to the service of God, the church and community, Deaconess Ukeseh was accomplished in her Christian ministry and the nursing profession.
She is survived by her children, Mrs. Sarah Ajiboye, a business woman; Bishop Columba Niboro, General Overseer of the Sonrise Community Church, Toledo, Ohio, USA; Olorogun Ima Niboro, the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN; and Mrs. Grace Owhraigbo, of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS,as well as many grand children.
The programme of celebration of her life and memory as well as internment will be announced by the family.
