Most parts of Lagos, southwestern Nigeria were flooded on Sunday due to the heavy rains that disrupted the Easter celebration.
It also kept many residents of the state indoors thus disrupting businesses ,patronage to parks and other recreational facilities scattered around the state.
Though there were no reports of casualties, the flood took over major streets, thus preventing vehicular movements. In the Isolo area of the state, it uprooted some trees which barricaded the roads. At the time of this report, residents of the area were still calling on the authorities for assistance.
