President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Mr. Peter Jack as Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) for the next four years.
The appointment was announced on Wednesday in a one-paragraph statement signed by Sam Nwaobasi, the special assistant (media) to the secretary to the government of the federation, Anyim Pius Anyim.
“His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved the appointment of Mr. Peter Jack as Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency for a first term of four years, with effect from the 7th of April, 2014”, the statement read.
