The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the extension of the closing date for the sale of application documents for the Computer Based Test (CBT) to Monday, 31st March 2014.

According to a statement signed in Abuja by Public Relations Officer of JAMB, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, the extension is to afford for more candidates seekers of tertiary education who could not register for the Paper Pencil Test (PPT) mode, to still register.

He added that the move is line with JAMB’s determination to give opportunities to every Nigerian who wants to be educated.

“The Board wishes to state that it would shut its site after the expiration of this new date to allow for proper logistics and planning in preparation for the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Computer Based Test mode scheduled to begin from May 17”, a part of the statement read.

“Candidates are therefore advised to avail themselves of this opportunity the extension has provided”.
