The Foursquare Gospel Church has dismissed popular Nigerian singer, Chidimma Ekile from its choir, saying the musician is no longer clean enough to sing for the church.
Since winning the third edition of the MTN Project Fame, Chidinma has gone into classic hip hop songs, releasing award-winning albums to the embarrassment of the church where she had been a prominent chorister prior to the victory.
The church, according to sources, think she is no longer spiritually strong to continue as a chorister even though the singer has continued to insist that she has not deviated from the doctrines of the church and that music cannot take church service from her.
