Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Fact-finding Committee on the Taraba State Political Situation who visited hospitalised Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai have revealed that he is recuperating very well in New York, United States,
Led its chairman, Sen. Hope Uzodinma and also accompanied by Special Adviser to the PDP National Chairman on INEC and Inter-party Affairs, Alhaji Shitu Mohammed; Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak; Sen. Abubakar Gada; and Consul-General of Nigeria in New York, Amb. Habib Habu; the committee expressed happiness with the governor’s progress.
Uzodinma said they were impressed with what they saw, and thanked God for the progress, saying they would take back home what they have seen and inform the leadership of the party.
“We are impressed. We are also happy that the governor is recovering. We will still go back home and relate what we have seen,” he said. “We will also visit Taraba State and inform all stakeholders of what we have seen and our party as a family will make sure that the party continues to grow from strength to strength.”
Uzodinma further praised President Goodluck Jonathan and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur for inaugurating the fact-finding committee.
