Five anti -Amaechi lawmakers, led by Hon. Evan Bipi, Tuesday, stormed the River State House of Assembly with thugs, bloodied the majority leader of the House, Chidi Loyd and smuggled a fake mase into the House.
Eyewitnesses reveals that the Lawmakers backed by armed thugs and security men have started deliberations and are likely to commence impeachment proceedings against Rt. Hon Otelemaba Amachree, incumbent speaker and an ally of Gov. Rotimi Amaechi.
As huhuonline.com previously reported, those who want to oust Gov. Ameachi,have scripted a two pronged approach. The first phase is to remove the speaker and and replace him with Hon.Evans Bipi, an arch nemesis of Gov.Amaechi. Subsequently, Hon. Evans Bipi backed by the PDP,will institute impeachment proceedings against Gov. Rotimi Amaechi, who has since been suspended by the party.
