Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan has relieved Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Bernard Okumagba of his office.
Okumagba will be replaced by Commissioner for Economic Planning, Mr. Ken Okpara.
“Mr. Ken Okpara, Commissioner for Economic Planning, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance to replace Mr. Bernard Okumagba who has been dropped from the State Executive Council,” Secretary to the State Government, Ovuozourie Macaulay announced in a statement.
“The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Planning is to take charge of the running of the affairs in the Ministry until a new commissioner is appointed.”
As part of the reshuffle, Commissioner for Special Duties in charge of the State Liaison Office, Abuja, Comrade Gloria Okolugbo has been recalled to Asaba, for reassignment, as the state’s Head of Service is to post a Director to head the office forthwith.
Similarly, the Overseas Development Agency currently in the Ministry of Economic Planning has been returned to the Ministry of Finance, where it was initially based.
