Nigerian first lady, Patience Faka Jonathan has returned to Klinsk Hospital in Wiesbaden Germany, for a regular medical checkup.The two-day visit, Huhuonline.com can confirm, is a regular follow-up visit on the seven surgeries she had in 2012.
As Huhuonline.com previously reported, the first lady had a health scare 2012. She was initially treated for food poisoning but later operated on for a ruptured appendix. However, after appendectomy, there were other complications that caused her to undergo six more surgeries, including twisting of the intestine.
Hospital sources told huhuonline.com that Nigerian first lady, who saw her physicians on Tuesday, has not suffered a relapse and that her visit is only a regular medical checkup, after last year’s surgery.
“This is a regular follow up medical visit. She will be in Germany for two days,” said a source privy to her health conditions and travel plans. “There after she will proceed on a short vacation to Paris and subsequent return to Nigeria in few days. The first lady is health an ambulatory.”
