Huhuonline.com understands that there has been a fire outbreak at President Olusegun Obasanjo`s Hilltop residence, Abeokuta, Ogun State. The cause of the fire is unknown as at press time. But was quickly put off by fire men. Sources close to Obasanjo affirm that his secretary`s office and surrounding areas was razed by the inferno.
Also, the former president confirmed to journalists that only the office of his secretary was razed by the inferno.
President Obasanjo, who spoke in Yoruba,said, “I hope all of you understand Yoruba. You can see that only the secretary’s office was gutted by fire and not the entire house. So, go and report it properly.”
Subsequently, he began to sing in Yoruba and in his usual funny manner, he sang, Ile Obasanjo to jo, ewa lobusi, implying(Obasanjo’s house that’s razed by fire will become more beautiful).
